New York writer-director Peter Glanz has found success in advertising, features, and digital media.
He’s directed commercials for Tommy Hilfiger, Marc Jacobs, Estee Lauder, Bergdorf Goodman, Neiman Marcus, Yves St. Laurent, Women Within, Doyle Mueser and American Apparel, as well as music videos for the Parson Redheads and Kiddo.
His short “The Dinner Party,” featuring a philandering playwright, debuted at the Tribeca Film Festival. The character became the basis for his next endeavor, the AMC web series, “The Trivial Pursuits of Arthur Banks” starring Adam Goldberg and Jeffrey Tambour. His next feature, “Race to the South Pole,” with Casey Affleck attached, has been picked up by Warner Brothers. Ben Affleck and Matt Damon will produce under their Warner Brothers-based producing shingle Pearl Street Films.
